Job Description

TSA is actively seeking a technical sales representative.

Missions

  • Maintain and develop commercial relations with our numerous B to B customers.
  • Identify customer needs while taking into account their constraints.
  • Produce and send quotations to customers, with the support of the TSA Design Department. Handle follow-ups and reminders.
  • Support clients in the launch of their projects, carry out contract reviews and project follow-up, with the support of the TSA Design Department.
  • Manage all customer-related issues, directly or with the support of the company and the Sales Director.
    • Follow-up on the resolution of quality non-conformities (with company support).
    • Follow-up on changes in delivery times, at the customer’s request or on the company’s initiative, keeping the customer informed.
    • Order modification requests
    • Payment of overdue receivables
    • Handle administrative matters and disruptions related to the sales process.
  • Pass on to technical sales colleagues in other geographical areas any general or specific information that may help in the performance of their work.

Scope and area

  • Geographic region covered by the position: South of France
  • Technical fields of the products sold :

    • Stainless steel industrial equipment (handling elements and supports) based on the transformation of stainless steel wires or profiles: cutting, shaping, welding, surface finish (pickling, electro-polishing).
  • Sectors concerned :
    • Distributors: for catering companies, bakeries, the medical industry and the construction sector: sale of standard products at a set price.
    • Manufacturers: in the agri-food, pharmaceutical and general industrial sectors: sale of recurring products, development of specific less technical projects.
    • Engineering companies, equipment manufacturers, product designers, integrators, manufacturers of production lines for sterilization, agri-food or medical products, for handling elements development projects.

Objectives

  • Order volume according to budget.
  • Actual volume of discounts granted, within the authorized framework, kept to a minimum.
  • Acquisition of new customers.
  • Compliance with procedures and pricing framework, good maintenance of CRM records.

Reporting

  • Communicate field information to the various departments within the company.
  • Ensure the CRM tool is regularly updated (new clients or prospects, updated client contact details, visit schedules, visit reports, quote follow-ups, etc.)

Reports to

  • Direct hierarchical link with the Sales Director of TSA Inox.

Skills

  • Basic technical skills in general mechanics, notably reading simple product drawings.
  • Sales skills in “B to B” situations: customer-friendliness, good listening skills, openness and clarity during B to B exchanges, negotiation skills, ability to manage problems and resolve conflicts. Must be able to be firm when necessary, while maintaining a flexible approach.
  • Languages: English is a plus.

Job constraints

  • Field-based position with remote work
  • Frequent travel across the assigned area

Training / Profile / Experience

  • Engineer with a sales background and initial technical sales experience in B to B.
  • B-to-B sales representative with technical training (ideally in metallurgy) and around ten years’ experience.

Salary

  • To be determined based on the profile.
  • Fixed salary + Bonus + Vehicle.
